About Black Student Assembly
Our Mission
As the University of Southern California’s Black Student Assembly, we strive to create a unified front of Black identifying students from all parts of the Diaspora in order to foster undergraduate achievement. Black Student Assembly supports the growth, development, and overall success of Black students at USC through programming, enrichment, and networking. We shall serve as the primary advocacy organization for all Black students on USC’s campus. Black Student Assembly will provide an opportunity and safe space for Black students to freely express their views regarding current events, campus life, academics, and Black culture. Black Student Assembly is currently led by Candace House and Emery Ogah.
The USC Black Student Assembly (BSA) is an umbrella organization that oversees recognized Black student organizations at the University of Southern California. USC BSA is an assembly of the Programming Branch of the USC Undergraduate Student Government (USG). To view our constitution in its current state, please follow this link.
